After having slacked off (quite a bit) on here, I have decided to give it another go. School is back in full swing, and that means its time for classes, homework, and office hours! This semester I am enrolled in MAT 559, which is a Fashion Forecasting class at the University of Kentucky! For our first project, we are researching up and coming designers. After perusing style.com and checking out the Resort 2013 collections, I found two designers that I had previously never heard of and found their collection to be absolutely beautiful!
Camilla and Marc:
Camilla and Marc are a designer duo from Australia. To me, their resort collection runs the gamut in colors, silhouttes, and fabrics. It spans very colorful, bright pieces to very dark, space age type pieces. What I like is that this collection is very reminiscent of vintage style. I admire the use of different silhouettes, and their ability to capture the spirit of several different time periods.
